Will Fountain

Founder & Principal

Will spent 12 years in medical device sales and sales management specializing in the orthopedic, neuro and endovascular areas. He got the idea to start GreenServ because he saw a need for an independent medical waste disposal company in the area. Will’s vision for GreenServ was “to provide excellent customer service at a fair price.“ Will sees the benefit for both GreenServ customers and GreenServ employees. One of his goals for the company is to create a fun, family-oriented, and productive work environment where people are able to grow, develop, and expand their careers with GreenServ. For Will, the most rewarding thing about working at GreenServ has been seeing the company develop into a healthy small business. “This business started as an idea and a lot of prayer. I believe we are just scratching the surface as far as market growth and business development.“

“Healthcare is changing dramatically. Costs continue to go up, and the reimbursements for procedures are heading in the opposite direction. We are able to help our customers lower their cost, while providing superior services and products.”

John Alford

Founder & Principal

John’s experience in the medical industry includes 25 years in the orthopedic implant industry selling and servicing total joint replacement, trauma, sports medicine, and biologic implants. He has also owned a durable medical equipment company that specializes in post-op rehab equipment for the past eight years. John saw a place in the medical waste market for a company that would offer “old school” business values based on honesty, integrity, and the belief that you could build a company treating people the way we want to be treated. Many years in the corporate world gave him a very clear understanding of how he did NOT want to do it. “Customers want to be treated fairly, charged a fair price, and given great customer service. I felt like we could do those things, and do them well.” For John, the most rewarding aspect of working at GreenServ is seeing a successful business where people enjoy coming to work, having developed a brand, and being able to say we built it doing it God’s way.

“GreenServ is built on the greatest asset there is - good people.”

Carr Waters

Operations Manager

Carr Waters moved to Oxford, MS from Germantown, TN in 2009 and never left. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2014 and took a job with a local company where he gained valuable knowledge in both customer service and sales during his five years there. He ultimately moved to GreenServ in early 2019 because he was searching for a company that would take care of him as both an employee and as an individual moving forward, and he immediately knew GreenServ was that company.

Carr started out as a Route Manager and was promoted within the year to Operations Manager after months of first-hand experience interacting with the customers and facilities included in many of the routes throughout North Mississippi, the Delta, Memphis, and even parts of Louisiana. He’s truly grateful and excited for the opportunity to watch the growth of this company he believes in so deeply and the positive changes he knows it will bring to its field over many years to come.
